Richter Job Site

We’ve been busy this week with sheeting installations, framing inspections, and electrical walkthroughs. Here’s a breakdown of where we’re at and what’s coming up:

This Week’s Progress

After making some adjustments to the header height for a larger garage door, we moved onto sheeting the walls and roofing. By enclosing the space the shop somehow feels even bigger - and definitely more welcoming!

Next we began framing and sheeting for the new interior wall that will split the space into two separate “his and hers” craft areas. One for BattleBots, and the other for artistic creations and a wide variety of plants! They say distance makes the heart grow fonder, we say it makes the crafts way cooler.

What’s Next?

Windows and Skylights:

Let there be light! Next up is window and skylight installation, which will give the shop a bright, airy feel. Natural light is key for creating an inspiring workspace (and maybe even helping you find those bolts you drop).

Insulation & Weatherproofing

We’re about to make this space nice and cozy—because even shops need to stay comfy! With insulation going in, it’ll be snug enough to work in year-round, no matter what weather gets thrown at it. Who says a workshop can’t be both practical and comfortable?

Electrical Work:

Soon we’ll be running all the wiring for lights, outlets, and switches. No tripping over extension cords here!

Roofing:

We’ll be sealing things up tight with the final layer of roofing. Once this is in place, the shop will be ready to handle anything Mother Nature throws at it—rain, shine, or snow, we’ve got things covered (literally).

We’re excited about the progress and can’t wait to share more soon!

Thanks for being part of this journey with us!
