Weekly Sneak Peek: Our Ongoing Projects

This Week’s Progress

Our team kicked off the day bright and early to get the roof trusses up and secured. Materials were delivered on time and inspected for good measure, then we were ready to get moving. With the help of a massive crane, we lifted the trusses and got them braced, careful not to pinch any fingers along the way!

We had to adjust on the fly when we realized one truss was slightly off from our plans, but a quick fix and a bit of teamwork got everything back on track without us missing a beat.

What’s Next?

With the trusses securely in place and everything aligned just right, we’re all set to move forward. Here’s what’s coming up:

Sheathing the Roof:

We’ll cover the trusses with sheathing to create a solid surface for roofing materials.

Insulation and Weatherproofing:

Next we’ll install insulation to keep the workshop cozy and weatherproof so BattleBot season never has to end!

Roof Inspection:

Once the roof is fully enclosed, we’ll have an inspector check out the work to make sure everything’s up to snuff before moving on to the next stages of construction.
