Richter Project

We’ve been busy this week with up-framing, electrical rough in, weatherproofing, and the final roofing scopes of work. Here’s a breakdown of where we’re at and what’s coming next:

This Week’s Progress

After our crew wrapped up the final touches on the up-framing (aka making sure the bones of the house are rock solid), we hit another exciting milestone – the arrival of the new doors and windows.

Next we installed Tyvek HomeWrap to keep everything inside dry and protected. This step ensures that all the rain and snow coming soon will stay where it belongs - outside!

Our electricians were also hard at work completing their rough-in tasks, while the roofers were hammering away just above them. Needless to say, our electricians have experienced quieter days on the job!

It’s all part of the of progress, though – the wiring is in place, and the roof is now complete. The sounds of drills and hammers may have kept things lively, but that just means we’re moving full speed ahead.

What’s Next?

Roof Inspection:

Now that the roof is finished, we’ll bring in an inspector to give it a thorough check. We want to make sure everything’s in tip-top shape before we shift more of our focus to the interior.

Insulation:

We’re about to make this space nice and cozy—because even shops need to stay comfy! With insulation going in, it’ll be snug enough to work in year-round, no matter what weather gets thrown at it. Who says a workshop can’t be both practical and comfortable?

Windows & Doors:

We’ll be installing the new windows and doors soon, giving the space its first real glimpse of character! These beauties will bring in loads of natural light and create a welcoming feel while also keeping things secure and energy-efficient. Once they’re in, we’ll really see this place start to come together!
